How do I keep poo off of my kitten's butt?

I have a rag doll, which is a long haired beauty. I have a system in my bathroom. I have a double size box which allows him more room. When he goes I simply walk in on him and check him. I wipe,,yes wipe his butt like toilet paper before he leaves. I have a walk out towel and matt to absorb anytime he walks out the door. It`s all not pretty but my house is clean. Think of it as a little child being messy.
