I like to dress nice and preppy for school?

I'm a 17 years old Asian guy and I've always had a thing for dressing preppy and look nice in school (buttoned up shirts, unbuttoned dress shirts over undershirts, jeans, boat shoes, etc...). What are some of your opinions on the way I dress? Is it too dressy or too preppy for school?
