Why are my parents being so unreasonable? is it because she's a girl? 1?

She was probably just scared and is used to getting in the bed with her own parents. Which I think is odd because by 10 years old, most kids are over 'nightmares' and such. But it's just because she is a young girl and she is the company in the house.
